S.W. Grimes for $5,000 paid by W.L. Saunders ($1700 + 2 promissory notes at 10 %

interest $1650 due Oct 8 1895 and 1896.  472 acres of the Henry Farley Survey.



Beginning at the NE corner, thence N 7 W with N line of said League to the

corner of the 696 acres made to S.J. Mings.

Thence S 19 W 2890 varas to N line of Squyres survey

Thence S71 E 9e vrs to Squryes NE corn to Coryell City Road.

N 19 E 624 vrs to Live Oak Marked X bears N 24 1/2 E 70 vrs.

Thence N 51 1/2 E 1485 to East line of said Farley survey. 472 acres.

Additional Comments:
William Lafayette Saunders  came to Coryell Co. after the Civil War from

Louisiana.  He was an early merchant in Gatesville
