Jones Vol 8 pg 441 4-8-1892 from John Craddock Survey Know all men present, we S.W. Grimes, F.M. Grimes, Nancy Ellen Hall and her husband, A. Hall, Sarah C. Bean and her husband E.A. Bean, Elmira S. Day and her husband John W. Day, Elizabeth V. Acree, a femme sole, Wm. F. Jahn. $5 paid in hand by Mary Ann Jones of McLennan County - Division & Partition of Estate of Frederick M & Elmira S. Grimes dec'd and of her conveyance to us of her undivided interest in other parts of said estate, grant, sell, convey all that certain tract of land situated in the County of Coryell & Bell County State of Texas, part of John Craddock survey. Beginning in NW corner of Thomas McHoreus 320 acre tract to ash tree for corner. Thence S 71 E 752 1/2 varas to SW corner of survey made for Annie E. Culpepper. Thence N 19 E 1200 vrs a stake in N line of J. Craddock survey a live oak from which on Elm brs N74 E 20 vrs. Thence S 19 W 1200 vrs to place of beginning containing 155 Acres more or less. The interest herein conveyed our undivided interest entire to the above described tract of land - heirs at law of Frederick M & Elmira S. Grimes dec'd to said Mary Ann Jones her heirs and assigns forever. 7 May 1890 S.W. Grimes, F.M. Grimes, Nancy Ellen Hall, A. Hall, Sarah C. Bean, E.A. Bean, Elmira S. Day, John W. Day, Elizabeth V. Acree, Wm F. Jahn, Annie E. Culpepper Note: Wm F. Jahn, is husband of their deceased daughter, Mary Jane Grimes. Additional Comments: Note: All signed in Navarro County except Bean family who signed in Coryell County. Mary Ann Jones was cut out of her parents estate when she married Daniel Jones in 1859 against their wishes.
