S.W. Grimes conveys to J.M. & S.J. Powell for $2,170 a part of tract of land of

the Henry Farley Survey.

$584 in cash and 3 notes: $528 66 2/3/100  1 Jan 1891, 1892, 1893  10% interest 



Beg at NE Corner of block of 135 acres Thence brs N24 1/2 E 70 vrs. Then  S 51

1/2 W 1485 vrs to rock from corner Live Oak. brs N 24 1/2 E 70 vs.  Thence S19 W

810 Vrs to tock corner in middle of Gatesville & Coryell City Road. Thence S71 E

838 8/12 vrs to beginning containing 217 acres.

S.W. Grimes acknowledges payment in full of 3 notes & interest described in deed

413 - 217 acres out of H. Farley survey about 2 miles from Gatesville. Signed by

S.W. Grimes at Blooming Grove 25 Sept 1897

S.W. Grimes bought for $5,000 - 1,589 acres in 1883 from his parents F.M. & E.S.

Farley Grimes. Elmira was the daughter of Henry Farley.
