The Rev. Keith Dubois officiated. Burial was in Sheyenne Cemetery in McVille, N.D. Mr. Loe died Saturday at his residence. Born May 3, 1943, in McVille, he was employed by BDM & Planning Research Corporation since 1986. He retired from the U.S.Army in 1986 after 22 years service with the rank of master sergeant. He was a Vietnam veteran. He was a 1961 graduate of McVille High School. He was a member of American Legion Post 582 in Copperas Cove. Survivors include his wife, Elaine A. Mrs. Lengefeld was born Dec. 24 1906, in the Hemmeline community near Gatesville, where she attended school. She married Ed H. Lengefeld Nov. 21, 1926; he died Aug 13, 1955. The Lengefelds lived in Gatesville, Seguin and Ballinger before moving to Temple in 1945. In 1951, she and her husband established the Lengefeld Lumber Company in Temple, where she was a business partner until 1989. Mrs. Lengefeld was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She also was a member of the Temple Garden Club, Housekeepers Club and the City Federation of Womens Clubs. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William P. He was 105 , and Coryell County's oldest resident. Services were held Dec. 12 at Evant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gordon Malkowski officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Mr. Lewis was born May 25, 1886, in Mansfield, Ohio. He came to Texas in 1904, and drove a mule-drawn freight wagon to Comanche in 1905 before working on the Galveston Causeway in 1915. He ranched on Vista Mountain near Evant through the 1940's and later farmed in The Valley. After a stint with the railroad in Fort Worth, Mr. Lewis returned to Evant where he worked as a paint contractor. His wife, Lillie, preceded him in death in 1965. Mrs. Lock was born Nov. 13, 1928 in Alvarado, the daughter of the late Alphous and Jewel Smith. She attended school in Cleburne. She was married to Earl L. Lock on June 21, 1947, and worked as a guard at the Texas Department of Corrections from 1975 until 1984. She was a member of the Jonesboro Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Linda Clary of Bridgeport, Texas and Cheri Tull of Gatesville; one son, Ronald Lock of Arizona; a brother, Donald Smith of Cleburne; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Lively, 77, died in Slaton. Reared in Hamilton County, he lived in Gatesville from the early 1930's to 1959. He was in the shoe repair business here. He married Ona Stewart Williams in Sept. 1959, and they moved to Abilene. They later resided in Salem, Ore. and in Post and Stephenville before moving to Slaton four years ago. Mr. Lively was a Mason and a longtime member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of Slaton; a brother, Bryant Lively of Hico; one sister, Mrs. Linnie Land of Hico; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was 83 and had lived in Arlington the last three years. Services were held at 4 p.m. Friday at Scott's Funeral Home chapel with Rev. M. V. Hemphill and Rev. Carl Willis officiating. Burial was in the Walker Cemetery. Born June 27, 1899, in Coryell County, Mrs. Littlefield was the daughter of the late Charlie and Margaret Wittie. She was reared in the Owl Creek and Friendship communities. She was married to Tip A. Littlefield on Dec. 11, 1921, and they lived at Turnersville most of their married life. Mr. Littlefield died in 1970. Mrs. Littlefield was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church of Gatesville with Rev. Lloyd Sansom, Rev. Plez Todd and Rev. Rex Tilly officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Mr. McCallister was born Jan. 12, 1914 in Coryell County, son of the late D.L. and Maude McCallister. He was reared and attendeed school in the White Hall Community and graduated from Gatesville High School. He married Mis Rosa Lee Baker Jan. 19, 1934. They have lived in Gatesville all thir married life. He had been employed as manager of Powell Supply for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a long time member of the Gatesville Lions Club and was active in civic affairs for many years. Survivors include his wife; one son, Gene Baker McCallister of Euless; three sisters, Mrs. Mozelle Hudson and Mrs. Ruth Bond, both of Gatesville and Mrs. Dollie Whitley of Waco; four brothers, David McCallister and Bailey McCallister, both of Gatesville, Sidney McCallister of Fort Stockton and Johnnny McCallister of Odessa; and two grandchildren. McElroy, 90, a longtime resident of the Ater-Levita community, died Saturday in the local hospital. She had been a patient in a Gatesville nursing home. Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Scott's Funeral Home chapel and were conducted by Rev. Dale Yant. Burial was in the Ater Cemetery. Daughter of the late Lemuel and Sally Murrell, Mrs. McElroy was born in Coryell County on June 6, 1891. She was married to Roy McElroy on March 1, 1908, and they made their home in this area. Mr. McElroy died in 1958. Mrs. McElroy was an active leader in home demonstration club work at Ater for many years. She was a member of the Levita United Methodist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. J. C. Pogue of Midland, Mrs. Emmett Choat of New Mexico, Mrs. Lee Heard of Odessa and Mrs. Jerry Wall of Houston; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. McDONALD Mattie Isabel Liverett McDonald of Waco died there October 14. She was 99. Services were held Friday at Connally/Compton Funeral Home in Waco with Rev. Ron Durham officiating. Burial was in Copperas Cove City Cemetery. Mrs. McDonald was born September 6, 1893, in the Eliga community of Coryell County. She married the late Nathan McDonald, a rancher in the Antelope community of Coryell County. She taught Sunday School at Antelope Baptist Church for 10 to 12 years. For several years she was a florist in Gatesville and later owned the 25th Street Florist in Waco. She loved students and rented the second floor of her home to Baylor boys for 44 years. She taught Vacation Bible School in many missons and later attended Adult VBS until she was 98. She used her talent as a florist to decorate the tables for the Columbus Avenue WMU and the Ball Club. She was preceded in death by three sons, Nathan McDonald, Henry McDonald and Gaddy McDonald. Miller, 64, mother of Raby and Nick Miller, died shortly after 9 o'clock this morning at the home of Mrs. T.P. Cochrane, 500 F Avenue, where Mrs. Miller had made her home since November 1928. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock from the home of Raby Miller, 500 West Eighteenth street. Arrangements for the services were being completed this afternoon. These services will be direct by the Green Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was apparently in good health last night, Mrs. Cochrane said, chatting with Mrs. Cochrane and others during the evening. When she failed to get up at the usual hour today. Mrs. Cochrane said that she thought little of the fact and waited until 9 o'clock to call her, thinking that she had overslept. When she did call there was no response. A physician and members of the family were called immediately but it was too late for medical attention to be of effect. Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons, Raby and Nick, both of Cisco, two brothers, R.J. Murrell, of Levita, Texas, and Albert Murrell of Jonesboro, Texas, and three grand children, Hunter and Zona, children of Mr. and Mrs. Raby Miller, and Bobby Lee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Miller. Mrs. Miller recently sold to the Southwestern Bell Telephone company the lot at the intersection of E avenue and Seventh street, where the old Miller homestead stood and upon which the telephone company will erect a large building. Manning, lifelong resident of Pearl, died Monday in a Temple hospital. A retired rancher and cotton ginner, he was 81. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Pearl Cemetery. Manning and Susan Manning, was born at Pearl on April 14, 1900. He was married to Mildred Elam at Lampasas Dec. 2, 1925. They made their home at Pearl, where Mr. Manning was a community leader. He was a member of the World Wide Church of God. Mack, longtime Gatesville resident, died of a sudden heart attack Thursday afternoon at his home, 1614 Saunders Street. He was 84 and had been in failing health for some time. He was educated in the Dallas public schools and graduated from Bergman, Arkansas High School. He served in the U.S.Navy and was a life member and a charter member of Gatesville Post 74, Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of the National Sheriff's Association and the Texas and Southwestern Cattlemen's Association. He was also a radio amateur and a member of the American Radio Relay League and the Quarter Century Wireless Asociation. Mr. McWhirter was a founding member of the Northwest Arkansas Archaeological Association. The intersection at the acident site was unmarked with no railroad signals or signs. She died in 1974. He had lived in Gatesville since he was married. Mr. Miller was mayor of Gatesville from 1950 to 1956; a volunteer fireman, serving as chief from 1929 to 1951; a former school board trustee; and head of the selective service board from 1942 to the 1960s. Mr. Miller was a founder of the Gatesville Lions Club and was a Boy Scout leader, obtaining the Silver Beaver. She attended Crawford schools and was a graduate of McGregor High School. She then attended Texas Woman's University in Denton. She taught school in McGregor until she married Otto Minske on July 28, 1928, in Austin; he died Aug. 14, 1985. The Minskes moved to Brownsville in 1928 and Mrs. Minske moved to Dallas in 1986. She was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brownsville.
