   GATESVILLE MESSENGER JUNE9,1988 WILLIAM G. (BILL) SCOTT
   William  G.  (Bill)  Scott,  74,  of  Gatesville  died  May  3  at his
   residence.
   Services  were  held  June  4 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
   Hollis  Yeilding  and  Rev.  Ted  Foote officiating. Burial was in the
   Restland Cemetery.
   Born  March 1, 1914 in Saskatoon, Sasketchewan, Canada, he was the son
   of  the  late  James  W. and Margaret Scott. He was an Army veteran of
   WWII.  He married Josephine Clemons November 2, 1945. He was a retired
   brick  mason and a resident of te Levita community. He was a member of
   the First Baptist Church of Gatesville.
   Survivors  include  his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Travis (Sammie) Skinner
   of  Humble;  a  son,  Jim Scott of Gatesville; two sisters, Mrs. Janet
   Hines  of  Deming,  NM and Mrs. M.D. (Agnes) Lauritsen of Albuquerque,
   NM;  four grandchildren, Joe Skinner of Kansas City, MO, Kent Scott of
   Gatesville  and  Jerry  Scott of Gatesville; and one great-grandchild,
   Terri Reynolds of Kansas City, MO.
   Pallbearers  at  the funeral were Joe Skinner, Kent Scott Jerry Scott,
   Don Lauritsen, Bryan Foote, Mario Alvarado and Paul Peterson. Honorary
   pallbearers were Dr. Steve Norris, Dr. T.R.Williams, Dr. Daiel Markel,
   Dr. W.E. Bond, Dr. O.W.Lowrey and Dr. E.E.Lowrey.
