All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm WACO TRIBUNE-HERALD SEPT. 19, 1990 WILLIAM LOYD SELMAN PURMELA---- William Loyd Selman, 75, a farmer of Route 1, Purmela, died Tuesday morning in a Hamilton hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Retta Baptist Church in Rendon, the Rev. Robert Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Rendon Cemetery. Mr. Selman was born Nov. 24, 1914, in Rendon. He was a farmer and a member of Retta Baptist Church. He married Bessie Lee Hamilton on Nov. 12, 1938 in Fort Worth. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Wanda Lee Wilson of Hamilton, a son, William Loyd (Buddy) Selman Jr. of Route 1, Purmela; a brother, Elmer Lee Selman of Proctor; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton is in charge of arrangements.
