   WACO TRIBUNE-HERALD 6-25-1985 MRS. FAY D. SHELTON GATESVILLE ---
   Mrs.  Fay  Delone Shelton, 76, of Gatesville, died Tuesday at a Temple
   hospital.
   Graveside  services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Restland Cemetery in
   Gatesville, the Rev. D.D.Ramsey officiating.
   Mrs.  Shelton  was  born  Sept.  11,  1909,  in Leon Junction. She was
   married  to  Roy  (Les) Shelton May 5, 1928 in the Ewing community. He
   died  May  17, 1986. She was a housewife and was a member of the First
   Baptist Church in Gatesville.
   Survivors  include  two  sons, Roy L. Shelton Jr. of Caldwell and Fred
   Shelton of San Antonio; a brother Owen Whitenburg of Parksdale, Miss.;
   three  sisters, Mrs. Amanda Galloway and Mrs. Lillian Johnson, both of
   Gatesville,  and  Mrs.  Viola  May of Montana; nine grandchildren; and
   seven great-grandchildren.
