Haire, 64; Funeral Here January 9, 1941 Death last week claimed William H. Haire, 64, a residents of Ozona 12 years. Mr. Haire died at his home last Wednesday. He had been in failing health for more than a year, and had been bedridden the last two months. Funeral Services were held from the home Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Graveside rites were conducted by the Rev Clyde Childers, pastor of the Baptist church. Pallbearers were O. W. Smith, C. W. Taliaferro, Claude Russell, Claude Pharr, Ray Deland and O. D. Busby. Mr. Haire was born in Killeen in August, 1876. He moved his family to Ozona in 1929 and engaged in ranch work until ill health forced his retirement from occupation. Surviving are the widow and ten children, eight sons and two daughters. They are Odie Haire of Franklin, W. D. and Elbert Haire of Deport, N. E. of Princeton, Clarence of Quinlan, Orville of Paris, Wayne of Clarendon and Elmer of Ozona, Mrs. Lila Mae Jones of Bogota and Mrs. Sam Houston of Ozona. Four brothers and two sisters also survive. One of the brothers, Griffin Haire, lives in Ozona.
