SHOT THROUGH THE HEAD

WACO, Tex., Jan. 11 - - Hugh Durst, aged 24, checker at a cotton compress,
called at the residence of Mrs. L. Lewis tonight and asked to see Miss Dora
Ragsdale, Mr. Lewis' step-daughter. After conversation with the young lady a
short time he drew out a revolver and shot himself through the head. He is a
widower. His mother and children reside at Mexia, Tex.
