Sweany died from a relapse of dengue yesterday at this place and was buried at the Catholic Cemetery to-day. She was the wife of Lawrence Sweany, a Justice of this precinct, and leaves besides her husband a large family of sons and daughters, two of the latter now being very low with the dengue. Rev. F. E. Fales, of the Congregational Church, took a relapse from dengue last Saturday and has been dangerously ill since, but is reported better this evening. There have been seven deaths in the city since yesterday, mostly negroes and children, among the latter a bright and beautiful four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. C.
