Clack, Apt. 224, a welder, died at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness. Services are pending with Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. Mr. Barbee was born May 15, 1921, at Noodle, and was a longtime resident of Abilene. He was veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. Survivors are two sons, Mike of 3174 S. 13th and Bill of 2008 S. Clack; a daughter, Mrs. Dora Keener of West Monroe, La.; five brothers, Glendell of Soap Lake, Wash., Carl of San Bruno, Calif., A. J. of Red Oak, Lowell of Dallas and Bobby of Abilene; two sisters, Mrs. Leta Faye Touchstone of Anson and Mrs. Dorothy Redd of San Antonio; and two grandchildren.
