Special to the News.

BEATY - - Athens, Tex., Aug. 11 - - After a short illness Mrs. N. H. Beaty
died in this city at the residence of her son-in-law, Senator J. J. Faulk,
this morning, a little after midnight. The remains will be taken to Manchaca
and buried by the side of those of her late husband, Col. C. R. Beaty,
formerly of Austin. Six children survive her - - William Beaty of Dallas, R.
C. Beaty of Coleman County, Senator J. T. Beaty of Jasper, Mesdames Faulk and
Jones, wives of Senator Faulk and Judge Jones of Athens, and Dr. George Beaty
of Austin.
