P. Bonner, widow of an Athens feed store owner, died Tuesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul Witt, at 3417 Shenandoah. She had long been in ill- health. Funeral services were pending Tuesday night, Mrs. Bonner was Miss Addie Sims and a native of Cotton Gin, Freestone County. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Sims. She was reared at Fairfield, also in Freestone County. Her husband died in 1940 at Athens. Mrs. Bonner had made her home in Dallas with Mrs. Witt for the last five years. She was a member of Scofield Memorial Church. Mrs. Bonner is survived by another daughter, Mrs. George F. Brown, Lubbock; two sons, J. I. Bonner Jr. of Kobe, Japan, and W. P. Bonner Jr. of Athens; a sister, Miss Eula Sims of Dallas; two brothers, Taylor J. Sims of Hillsboro and M. M. Sims of Dallas, and four granddaughters. [This is Fannie Adriance (Sims) Bonner]
