Deaths

IDA CRAIGHEAD DUCKWORTH (21 Nov 1896- 31 Mar 1973)

Ida C. Duckworth - Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Ida C.
Duckworth, 76, in Anderson- Clayton Bros. Chapel with Rev. Jerry Griffin
officiating. Internment was in Long Creek Cemetery. She died March 31 in
Century Convalescent Center #1 Mesquite.

Born in Milford, Texas, she came to Dallas as a young child and had lived in
the Mesquite area for 60 years. She was a member of Markout Baptist Church in
Forney.

Survivors are sons, F.D. Duckworth, Jr., Mesquite, Lloyd Duckworth, Forney;
daughter, Mrs. Alice Hodges, Dallas; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren
and one great-great- grandchild.
