S. Forston Died Friday at Dallas Home Dec. 20, 1946 Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Hampton Place Church of Christ in Dallas, for Mrs. J. S. Forston, who passed away at her home, 2518 Ramsey St., Dallas, Friday. Fred C. Boshart of Dallas and George W. Patterson of Weatherford will officiate. Interment will be made in the Crisp Cemetery where a short service will be held at 4:15 p.m. Active pallbearers will be Walter Ramsey, Tom Ramsey, Ira Winterrowd, O.V. Campbell, J.E. Minter and J.H. Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers are O.H. Williams, E.M. Reed, B.L. Johnson, Samuel Forston, Gerald Forston, George Forston, Walter Williams and Adolphus Goodwin. Surviving are her husband, five sons, Alvie Forston of San Diego, Calif., Willie M. Forston of Bardwell, Ira Lee Forston of Dallas, Athol Forston of Tyler and Ernie S. Forston of Dallas; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Watkins of Dallas, Mrs. O.H. Williams of Ennis, Mrs. Nancy Reed of Dallas, Mrs. Ella Ree Johnson of Dallas; one brother, Tom Watkins of Dyke, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Will Ramsey of Mart; thirty-two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Forston was born in Winterrowd, Ill., March 12, 1879, and came to Texas at the age of ten. Her father passed away while she was an infant and she was brought to Texas by her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Winterrowd. The family settled in the Garrett community, later moving to Crisp. In 1926 the family moved to Dallas. Mrs. Forston was married to James Samuel Forston on Jan. 25, 1893 at Corsicana. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Dallas in 1943. Among those attending funeral services for Mrs. J. S. Forston at 2 o'clock Sunday at the Hampton Place Church of Christ in Dallas were Rev. and Mrs. J.J.S. Sheppard; Mr. and Mrs. Horace Jones, Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Pool, Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Bozek. Others attending the service at the Crisp Cemetery where interment was made, included Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cummings, Mr. and Mrs. N. Stacke, Mr. and Mrs. Pruitt, Mrs. Dareen Ramsey, Mrs. W.H. Baker, Mrs. J.W. Minor, Mr. and Mrs. Maxie Minor, Mr. and Mrs. Maxie Minor, Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Wood, Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Kitchens, Mrs. J.W. Gailey, Bob Gailey, Misses Fontaine Jones, Melba Johnson, Joyce Sheppard and Joan Cummings. J.S. Forston of Dallas spent Sunday night with his son, W. M.
