James Roland Griffin

GRIFFIN, James Roland, age 80.  He was the father of the late Ben S.
Griffin of the Griffin Auto Company.  Passed away at the home of his
daughter, 5915 Victor.  Residence 1008 Grandview.  Survived by his wife
Mrs. Eva Griffin: 5 sons James Marvin Griffin, Alvin L. Griffin, Acie
Jim Griffin, Henry L. Griffin, all of Dallas. Hulan R. Griffin, Los
Angeles.  4 daughters Mrs. Eva Hodde, Mrs. Pearl Barr, both of Dallas:
Mrs. Annie Burns, Oklahoma City,  Mrs. Lois Hamilton, Fort Worth:
daughter-in-law Mrs. Ben S. Griffin, Dallas, one sister Mrs. John S.
Swafford, Austin: 3 brothers  W. R. Griffin and Richard Griffin, Forestburg,
Texas: Luther M. Griffin, California: sisters, grandchildren, greatgrand
children.  He was member of First Methodist Church and Odd Fellows
Lodge.  Welland's Service 2909 Live Oak.
