Mary Ellen Moore

Mary Ellen Moore, 71, of Amarillo died Sunday, April 25, 2004.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors
Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Robert Field officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Moore lost her battle to cancer on Sunday in Dallas. Mrs. Moore was born
Oct. 23, 1932, in Dallas. She and her family lived in Amarillo for 30 years.
She worked for First Presbyterian Church for many years. Mrs. Moore was
married to Billy Locke Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994; and a grandson, Todd Erwin.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Bonita McDowell and husband, Jerry, of
Dallas and Terry Hoddinott and husband, Haynes III, of Virginia; her mother,
Ellen Dunaway of Dallas; a brother, Wayne Smith and wife, Sherry, of Dallas;
four grandchildren, Michele Erwin-Erke, Cody Locke Moore, Brice McAlister and
George Hoddinott IV; and a great-granddaughter, Mariah Sage McAlister.

The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home.
