The funeral will be held Friday, and burial will be in Pleasant Mound Cemetery. The Masons of Tannehill Lodge, No., 52, will have charge. Mr. Poynter, who was a native of Kentucky and a resident of Dallas County since 1874, is survived by his wife, four sons and one daughter. The sons are: Tero Poynter of Roton, N. M. and Herbert, Marshall and Oscar Poynter of Dallas. The daughter is Mrs. Lynn Hunnicutt of Dallas. Mr. Poynter was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Orphans' Home,and also of the W. C. W.
