CHARLES H. THIELL DEAD

Passes Away at Home of Daughter on Grand Avenue

Charles H. Thiell died at 3 a.m. yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
E. L. Bowman, 430 Grand Avenue, aged 74 years. The funeral will be from the
residence at 2 p.m., and the interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. The
deceased was a Confederate veteran, and Camp Sterling Price will have charge
of the funeral. The pallbearers appointed are Capt. S. H. McElreath, J. B.
Mims, Thomas J. Hutchinson, Robert C. Wallace, W.W. McDavitt, John J. Carter.
W. W. Stokey and John J.Conroy.
