Cox Cemetery was established in 1848 and is named for the former small pioneer
community of Cox 
near White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas. It is located near the shore of the lake, off
of W. Lawther and 
Dalgreen Drives and is inaccessible to the public without permission from the Cox
Cemetery 
Association.
