This photo was made by W. Wirt Williams, extra finish, 334 Elm St. cor. 
Sycamore, Dallas, Texas

This my have been a cousin of my grandmother, Adah "Leuna" Jones Garner, wife 
of Henry Anderson Garner.  Her uncle,  Charles Matthew Jones, b. 18 Dec. 1840, 
Laurens Dist. SC., d. 14 June 1930, Dallas, TX, and his wife, Amarillo Miles b. 
9 May 1843, Monroe Co., MS, d. 26 April 1927, Dallas, TX.  Their children were 
born in Mississippi but they moved to Dallas, Tx some time after 1877.  
(Charles and Amarillo were m. 11 June 1866, Monroe Co., MS.)

Eugenia Adaline "Genie" Jones b. 29 Nov. 1866, MS, d. 25 Dec. 1913 m. 1887, 
Thomas J. Pollard b. Aug. 1860, TX, d. 9 July 1926.

Charles R. Jones b. 1869 d. after 1927

John Orris Jones b. 1873 d. 3 Oct. 1927, Dallas, TX m. Fannie M. b. about 1881

Bettie M. (twin) Jones, b. 9 June 1895, MS d. 6 July 1972, Dallas TX, m. Thomas 
Eugene Nolan d. 30 Jan. 1946.  (I think my grandmother correponded with Bettie 
Jones Nolan.)

Daniel Matthew "Mack" (twin) Jones b. 9 June 1875, MS, d. 25 Sept. 1949 m. 
Margaret "Maggie" b. 1879, MS

Walter C. Jones b. Mar. 1877, MS, d. 1930 m. Byrdie Elizabeth Hagar b. about 
1881, KS


Additional Comments:
Charles Matthew Jones and my great grandfather, Sebern Adison Jones b. 2 April 
1836, Laurens Dist., SC d. 3 June 1923, Payson, Lincoln Co., OK, were sons of 
Sebern Jones and Mary Pitts who are buried Pleasant Hill Cem., Monroe Co., MS.  
Sebern Adison and his wife Arrilla West also came to Texas and lived for a time 
in Erath Co., TX, before they settled in Lincoln Co., OK.
