Ethel Parker
Services for Ethel Parker, 84, of Corsicana were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in 
Branon Chapel with the Rev. Clifton Igo, pastor of Second Baptist Church, 
officiating.  Burial was in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon 
Funeral Home.  Mrs. Parker died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in Corsicana Memorial 
Hospital after an illness.  The Texas native and former Lamesa resident 
married John D. Parker June 2, 1913 in Killeen,.  He died Oct. 26, 1949.  Born 
Dec. 27, 1895, she had lived in Corsicana the last three years.  Survivors 
include three sons, John of Seminole, Thomas Lee of Grand Prairie and J.D. of 
Levelland; two daughters, Elizabeth Baker of Corsicana and May E. Anderson of 
Lamesa; a sister, Anne Bell Ingram of Bartlett; a brother, Thomas James White 
of Belton; 26 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and three great-great 
grandchildren.

Brannon Funeral Home Chapel, Lamesa, for Mrs. Ethel Pleasant Parker, 84, 
resident of Corsicana and formerly of Lamesa, who died Thursday at Navarro 
County Memorial Hospital.  Burial will be at LaMesa Memorial Park.  Survivors 
include two daughters, Dora Elizabeth Parker of Corsicana and Mrs. Mary E. 
Anderson of Lamesa; three sons; John Parker of Levelland, and Lee Parker, of 
Arlington; a number of grandchildren; a brother Tom White, of Belton; and a 
sister, Mrs Annie Bell Ingram, of Bartlett.
