In this (Denton) county the storm demolished the house of Mrs. Prigmore, who, with her daughter, was buried in the ruins. The mother was fatally injured. The daughter will recover. The residence of Dr. J. W. Rutherford was blown bodily from its foundation and turned over on its side. The family escaped, having fled to their storm cave. Many barns, sheds, and outhouses were blown down, and the schoolhouse at Stony was completely wrecked. School had been dismissed, however, and no fatalities resulted. At Pilot Points signs and awnings were carried away and houses were unroofed. Williams & Newbury's warehouse was moved by the force of the wind 40 feet from its foudnation. Kendall's grain warehouse was unroofed.
