Bryant "We are called upon to chronicle the death of this veteran horticulturist, in the 67th year of his age. Capt. Bryant has devoted much of his time to practical horticulture for the past quarter of a century. He was one of the original thirteen who organized the now famous Pilot Point Horticultural Society six years ago and was elected its first vice-president and after serving two terms was made entomologist of the society and has rendered valuable service in the study of insects injurious to vegetation. Though modest and unassuming, his work was known to all his associates, and his earnest zeal and efforts to advance the cause of horticulture will be long remembered. Pe. . . [probably peace] to his ashes." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: By Andrea Bryant Ramsay: The four living children and the two infants I have information on [don't have anything on the other two], of Alexander Hart Robertson Bryant and Katherine "Kate" Brown referred to were: 1.
