Bell Dies in Chicago Mentlow J. Bell, 63, died at a Federal hospital in Chicago Thursday, where had been since Jan 29. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and had been in ill health three years. He had lived in Ruddell Street in Denton three years. The body will arrive in Denton Sunday at 6:52 a.m. and will be taken to his home until time for funeral services which will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Aubrey Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Belew cemetery. Rev. G. L. Hodges of Tiega? will have charge. Bell was born in Wilson County, Tenn. Oct 16, 1873, and came to Texas a number of years ago. He was married Dec 30, 1907 to Miss Maude Sims in McKinney. He moved to Aubrey in 1915, where he lived until going to Denton. He is survived by his wife, three children, George Bell of Aubrey, Miss Cleo Bell of Denton, Jack Bell of Sherman, a grandson, James L. Bell of Aubrey and three brothers in Tennessee.
