All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ********************************************************** Mrs. Emma Rose Dies in Eastern Part of County Mrs. Emma Rose, 80, a pioneer of Denton County, died at her home in Little Elm, in the eastern part of the county, Tuesday evening at 9:10 o'clock. Funeral services will be held in the Little Elm Church of Christ Thursday morning at 10 o'clock and burial will be in the Little Elm cemetery. Mrs. Rose, widow of G.B. Rose, who died in June, 1933, is survived by four children, Mrs. Bertie Wilks, Miss Mertie Rose and Sam Rose, all of Little Elm, and Mrs. J.M. Mallow Frisco, and six brothers and sisters, L. Robertson, Mmes. G.W. Owens, J.M. Louder, A.S. Thomas and W.C. Pearson all of Denton and William Robertson of Krum. She was born in Arkansas Feb. 14, 1854. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
