Wilkinson who died Wednesday (Dec. 27, 1933) afternoon were held thursday in the First Baptist Church, Denton Texas, conducted by the Pastor, Dr. Karl B. Moore. A quartet composed of J. W. Pender, J.M. Edwards, Mrs. R. M. Barns, and Miss Esther Ubbon sang " No Night There" and " The Old Rugged Cross". Buriel was in the IOOF cemetary and pullbearers were Dr. Jack Skiles, U. C. Travelstead, W. F. Hamilton, John Herbert, Dillon Smith and E. C. Wiley. Honorary pullbearers were Raymond Spalding, George Reed, Dr. W. C. Kimbrough, O.C. Knight, Dick Skiles, Wylie Barnes, Jim Skiles, L. P. Floyd, J. L. Wrigh, B. E. Looney, Rev. Charles W. Estes, Rev. E. E. White, Marvin Self, W. J. Hamilton, Gu(?) Herbert, Jack Goodwin, C. H. Jones, Fred Freeman, Bert Fowler, Sid Stockard, Harold Snow, (?) O. McCulley, Ed Sheridan, Lee Douglas, W. C. Collier, and Glen Lanlord. Among those here from out of town for the Services were Mr and Mrs S. L. Durham (this is Samuel Lloyd Durham, he is Mary Durham-Wilkinson's brother) and children, Mrs. Dave McCoy, Miss Mildred McCoy, Mrs. Earl Norris and little daughter, all of Celina. Mrs. Ruby Shorter of Fort Worth, Miss Leta Wilkinson and Olin Wilkinson of College Station, Mrs. J. N. Hicks of Hurkbernett, Mrs. O. R. Dunn, Mr and Mrs Will Brothers and C. J. Brothers of Wichita Falls. NOTES by submitter: Here is an obit of my William Claud Bud (aka CB) Wilkinson, he married Mary Durham the daughter of Bedford Forest Durham recieved this today in the mail and have transcribed it.I have found that his name was listed as Claud Bud (not William) Wilkinson and that his parents are listed as J B (John Bluford) Wilkinson and Hannah Potter.2 It shows that the person who gave the info was W J Wilkinson. Attending the funeral was Mr and Mrs S L Durham and children, this is Samuel Lloyd Durham and family,, it states that they lived in Celina. They are buried in the Old Celina Cemetary in Celina Tx.
