Here are directions and some information about it: Out of Yorktown, take Highway 119 North (towards Stockdale). Approximately 10 miles from Yorktown you will see a sign for New Davy. Turn right (there is a little store on the corner w/an old style Texaco sign). After turning off the highway, you will immediately veer left, staying on the blacktop road (the blacktop eventually turns to dirt). Go about a mile and a half to the Y in the road, and stay to your right (this was the original townsite of Davy - nothing there now but a couple of houses). Go about another half mile and turn left. There is a sign saying Davy Cemetery, pointing you in the right direction. The cemetery is about a mile down this road (you cant miss it). It is surrounded by a chain link fence and has a sign saying Salt Creek Cemetery (it is known by both names). Decoration Day is the 2nd Sunday in April. This is a potluck lunch w/all of the ancestors of those buried in the cemetery. The cemetery association conducts its business at this time (Brad Arnold is president).
