TX Submitted by Polly Karr Montgomery ESPUELA CEMETERY Dickens County, Texas This cemetery claims to be the oldest cemetery in Dickens County. The land was deeded by Eric P. Swenson back on November 29, 1915. The first person buried was a man named Combs, the father-in-law of W.W.Stegall, a Methodist preacher in the eighties, at Espuela.
