W.C. Hilburn at the residence. The bride is the third daughter of M/M C.W. Ryan of Clarendon and has grown to young womanhood here. The groom is a prosperous young farmer from Hale County. Mr. Jones is a former Clarendon College student class of 1906 and it was at this school that he first met his wife. They will lived on his farm about 17 miles from Plainview. Mrs. Ola Culwell, beloved wife of our fellow townsman, W.C. Culwell and daughter of M/M W.W. Champion of Bowie. She died on the 12th following an operation in Oklahoma City. Remains were brought home and the funeral was held at the First Baptist Church by her pastor, Rev. A.C. Burroughs. The remains were interred in the Citizen’s Cemetery. She was only 34 years old and is survived by her husband and six little children. Alex Ligertwood, the accountant for the JA ranch returned from a three months vacation to England. His first trip to the “old sod” in 10 years.
