Burdine of Amarillo, a former Hedleyan, passed away there Tuesday morning after a short ilness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in Llano Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rilla Burdine of Amarillo; six sons, M. C. Burdine of Alanreed, G. W. of Melrose, New Mexico, W. F. And A. R. of Amarillo, A. E. of McLean and Sgt. L. J. Burdine of Lubbock; for daughters, Mrs. Bell Baggett of Lubbock, Mrs. Mary Clay of Hedley, Mrs. Lou Ellen Williams of Amarillo and Mrs. Ruth Bidwell of McLean; four brothers, Willie, Leroy and Callie of Melrose and Brack of Littlefield; and one sister, Mrs. Addie Hall of Rochester, Texas.
