Davis, 33 years old, who passed away Thursday at his home in Amarillo, were held Saturday from Griggs Chapel there by Rev. H. W. Hanks of Muleshoe. Pallbearers were Pat Slavin, Gene Baxter, H. L. Riley, Colie Huffman, Johnny Grady and Gerald Noble. Burial was in the Clarendon cemetery. Mr. Davis lived in Clarendon before moving to Amarillo last November. He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Clarendon American Legion Post. He was a World War II veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Estelle Davis, his father, W. K. Davis of Plainview; six brothers, Clifford and Loyce of Amarillo, Roy of Marion, N. C., Ernest and Arthur of Plainview and Kennedy of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. Guy Stidham of San Antonio and Mrs. Norman Shephard of Seal Beach, Calif.
