A service was held in the Methodist Church at Lelia Lake with Rev. L. D. Cleveland and Rev. Ernest Phillips officiating. Service at the Methodist Church in Vernon was conducted by Rev. Marshall Rhea and Dr. E. S. James. Pallbearers were Sid Pointer, Hobart Moffitt, Clarence Ayers, Quinn Aten, Fred Thomas, Nelson Seago, J. W. Webb. James, 16 years old, died at the family home at Lelia Lake where he attended high school. He was a member of the Methodist Church, having become a meber when 11 years old. Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. McDaniel, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Myers, Lelia Lake, and Mrs. Nora Key, Vernon.
