The Hedley Informer; March 30, 1945
Mrs. Neal McGinnis died Sunday, March 18, at the age of 55 years, 6 months and 
1 day, and was buried in Rowe Cemetery under direction of Womack Funeral 
Home.  Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 21, at 3:00 o'clock p.m. at 
the Church of Christ with Oscar Ellison of Denton officiating.  Pall bearers 
were Ray Moreman, W. T. Dickson, Walter Johnson, Alfred Johnson, Bill Allen, 
and J. L. Parker.  In charge of flowers were Johnny Granger, Mary Allen, 
Billie Tipton and Elnor Ruth Tipton.  Mrs. McGinnis was born is Mississippi 
and had lived in Hedley for one year.  Survivors are her husband, Neal 
McGinnis; two brothers, Ray Thomas of Hedley and E. J. Thomas of Houston; and 
one sister, Mrs. R. E. Lang of Houston.
