Lindeman (AD 1908-1996) Name: Addie M. “Curlie” Lindeman Residence: Corpus Christi, Texas (Nueces County) Date of Birth: November 11, 1908 Place of Birth: Duval County, Texas (Duval County) Passed Away: January 10, 1996 Age: 87 years, 1 month, 29 days Church Affiliation: Baptist Survived by: Two Sisters: Mrs. Clara Conner of Corpus Christi; Betty Jo Misenhimer of Alice, Texas Number of Nieces & Nephews Clergy: Joe Brumbelow, retired Southern Baptist pastor of Lake Jackson, TX Date of Service: January 12, 1996 Hour: 11:00 A.M. Place of Service: Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel Place of Interment: Alice Cemetery Arrangements by: Holmgreen Mortuary, Alice, Texas Addie Lindeman was a faithful member of West Heights Baptist Church, Corpus Christi, TX where Rev. Joe E. Brumbelow had previously served as pastor. At the Memorial Service Brother Joe Brumbelow recalled, “Mrs. Lindeman was a special person to many people. I was her pastor for eight years. We visited together and prayed together. She was a pleasant, sweet person. She was very attractive and had a quiet dignity about her. She was known and beloved by South Texas ranchers. She ran the cattle auction at Alice, TX. She was generous hearted. Loved family gatherings. Was a wonderful cook. Had a phenomenal memory. The most important thing, at this time the only thing that really matters, is that she had accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.” But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. -Romans 5:8; The Bible. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation…For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” -Romans 10:9,10,13; The Bible But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. -1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; The Bible. Scripture Rev. Joe Brumbelow often used in Funerals. A book about Rev.
