This photo is of the tombstone of George Ross Whittington.  He was born 

January 24, 1842, and died November 27, 1911.  He was a Mason.  I am unsure of 

the significance of the other symbol on the stone.  An inscription on the 

stone reads "A sinner saved by grace"  

Additional Comments:
George Ross Whittington was the husband of Rachel Frances Scarborough, who was 

the daughter of Silas and Rachel Scarborough and the sister of Emma Elizabeth 

Agnes Scarborough.  He was a merchant in Ranger, Texas.
