Additional Comments: Eliza Mariah KARNES was born on 29 Sep 1840 in Kentucky to Charles T. & Mary KARNES. Eliza M. died on 21 Sep 1915 in Stephens County, Texas. The cause of death was poisoning. She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Cisco, Eastland County, Texas. She married Green Lafayette SMITH on 28 Mar 1866 in Coryell County, Texas. Reverend Green Lafayette SMITH was born on 5 Feb 1841 in Nacogdoches County, Texas to Captain Henry Madison SMITH and Sarah Susannah HALL SMITH. Green Lafayette SMITH died on 29 Jan 1886 in Stephens County, Texas. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Cisco, Eastland County, Texas.
