   ODESSA  --  George Harden Tyler, 81, of Odessa, died Saturday, Dec. 5,
   1998, at Avalon Nursing Center in Odessa.
   
   Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Pecos
   with   the   Rev.   Matt   Williamson  officiating.  Arrange-ments  by
   Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
   
   He was born in Honey Grove.
   
   SURVIVORS:  Daughter,  Brenda  Murdock  Blackwell of Abilene; sisters,
   Dorthy  L.  Musick  of  Big Spring, M. Kathleen Ashing of Odessa, Neta
   Maston  of  Garland,  Anne Smith of Broken Arrow, Okla., Joanne Ard of
   Whitesboro  and  Jeanette Pettit of Mesquite; brothers, James Tyler of
   New  Braunfels  and Leonard Tyler of Sherman; three grandchildren; two
   great-grandchildren.
   
   Jewel Van Dusen
   
   ODESSA  --  Jewel  R.  Van  Dusen, 89, of Odessa, died Sunday, Dec. 6,
   1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
   
   Service  will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev.
   Melvin  Warren  officiating.  Burial  will  be  3:30  p.m.  Tuesday in
   Eldorado  Cemetery  in Eldorado. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral
   Home.
   
   She was born in Equality, Ala. She was Baptist.
   
   SURVIVORS:  Sons,  Owen  Lawrence  Jr.  of  Quitman, David Lawrence of
   Midland and John D. Lawrence of Mineola; daughter, Martha Jo Morris of
   Odessa;  stepsons,  Jerry  Van  Dusen  of Houston, Walter Van Dusen of
   Mesquite,  Billy  Van  Dusen  of Odessa and Kenneth Van Dusen of Grand
   Prairie; brothers, George Reed and Donald Reed, both of Fort Worth and
   Harold  Reed  of  Benbrook;  sister,  Eva  Satour of Tucson, Ariz.; 18
   grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
   
   Kathryn Wagner
   
   LAMESA  --  Kathryn  Marie Wagner, 77, of Lamesa, a quality inspector,
   died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998, at her home.
   
   Services  will  be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church
   with  the  Revs. Jim Terry and David Black officiating. Burial will be
   at  Lamesa  Memorial  Park.  Arrangements  by  Branon  Funeral Home of
   Lamesa.
   
   She was born in Loraine. She was Methodist.
   
   SURVIVORS:  Daughter,  Linda Marie Dennis of Lamesa; sisters, Etta Mae
   Brown  of  Omaha,  Nila Bassinger of Sand Springs and Nena Mitchell of
   Snyder.

   1998, at her home.
