Chester Short Jr. MCALLEN -- Chester "Chet" Arthur Short Jr., 69, of McAllen, a retired Southwestern Bell Telephone employee, died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at his McAllen home. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Unity of the Valley Church.
