December 12, 1998 Permian Basin Death Notices Earl Danley ODESSA -- Earl Douglas Danley, 70, of Odessa, owner of the Danley Agency, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Sixth & Jackson Church of Christ. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Florence, Ala., and moved to Odessa in 1968 from Lubbock. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: Wife, Ruth Danley of Odessa; son, Doug Danley of Carrollton; daughter, Darla Patty of Hobbs, N.M.; brothers, Everett Danley of Virginia, O.A. Danley Jr. of Florence, Ala., Ray Danley of Tennessee, and Claude Danley of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters, Etoyle Abston and Stella Masterson, both of Florence, Ala.; and three grandchildren. Helen Oglesby PECOS -- Helen Oglesby, 98, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, at Pecos Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Bruce Abbott officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. She was born in Wilcox, Ariz., and was a life-long resident of Pecos. She was a member of First Christian Church. SURVIVORS: Son, William R. Oglesby of Pecos; and 12 grandchildren. James Olive ODESSA -- James Richard "J.R." Olive, 70, of Odessa, a retired service manager, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, at his residence. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Hosston, La., and moved to Hallsville in 1928. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorothy Olive of Odessa; son, Ben Durall of Arlington; daughters, Judy Smith of Kaufman, Gail McCord of McAllen and Tammie Thomas of Odessa; brother, B.R.
