   John Beasley
   
   ODESSA  --  John  Wesley  Beasley, 90, of Odessa died Sunday, Dec. 13,
   1998, at his residence.
   
   Services  will  be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson
   Funeral  Directors  with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Burial will
   be  at  3  p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Cemetery in Funston. Arrangements by
   Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
   
   He was born in Jones County and moved to Odessa in 1952 from Anson. He
   was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
   
   SURVIVORS:  Wife, Mabel Beasley of Odessa; daughters, Patsy L. Rice of
   Abilene  and  Rosie  Langston  of Odessa; five grandchildren and eight
   great-grandchildren.
   
   Russell Chatham
   
   BAIRD  --  Russell Lafayette Chatham, 77, of Baird, a retired chemical
   engineer,  died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998, at Hendrick Medical Center in
   Abilene.
   
   Services  will  be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Parker Funeral Home Chapel
   with  the  Rev.  Ricky  Carstensen officiating. Burial will be at Ross
   Cemetery Annex. Arrangements by Parker Funeral Home.
   
   He  was  born in Baird and returned in 1985. He was an Army veteran of
   World War II. He was Baptist.
   
   SURVIVORS:  Wife, Mary Ruth Chatham of Baird; daughter, Kim Chatham of
   Beaumont;  step-sons,  Tim  Armstrong  of  Sulphur  Springs  and  Rick
   Armstrong  of Keller; sisters, Alene Hodson of Baird, Jimmie Bailey of
   Levelland  and  Mamie  "Tootsie"  Austin  of Abilene; brother, Curtiss
   Chatham of Odessa; and four step-grandchildren.
   
   Laura Cook
   
   GAUSE  -- Laura B. Cook, 76, of Spring, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec.
   12, 1998, in Houston.
   
   Services  will  be  at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gause Baptist Church with the
   Rev.  Leslie J. Kessler officiating. Burial will be at Gause Cemetery.
   Arrangements by Heartfield Funeral Home in Hearne.
   
   She  was born in Gause and had lived in Spring for six months. She was
   Baptist.
   
   SURVIVORS:  Husband,  Willard  Cook  of Spring; sons, Everet Archer of
   Houston,  Bobby  Lynn  Cook  of  Lubbock;  daughter, Martha Olbrych of
   Houston; brother, Bobby Joe Erwin of Mexia; four grandchildren and six
   great-grandchildren.
   
   Urbano Hernandez
   
   ODESSA -- Urbano Hernandez, 61, of Odessa, self-employed, died Sunday,
   Dec. 13, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
   
   Mass  will  be  celebrated  at  2  p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic
   Church  with  the  Rev.  Gilbert Rodriguez officaiting. Rosary will be
   said at 7 p.m. Monday at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose
   Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
   
   He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico. He was Catholic.
   
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Edelmira Hernandez of Odessa; daughter, Jessica Mayte
   Ramirez  of  Odessa;  sons,  Luis  Enrique  Hernandez and Jesus Manuel
   Hernandez,  both  of  Odessa  and  Elias Jordan of Presidio; brothers,
   Ruben  Hernandez,  Moises Hernandez, Adan Hernandez, Nacario Hernandez
   and  Hector  Javier  Hernandez,  all of Lovington, N.M.; sisters, Sara
   Olivas  of Lovington, N.M., Elva Rodriguez of Odessa and Ester Ramirez
   of Las Cruces, N.M.; and 10 grandchildren.
   
   Alicia Posada
   
   ODESSA -- Alicia Posada, 52, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, Dec.
   11, 1998, at his residence.
   
   Graveside  services  will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery.
   Rosary  will  be  said  at  7:30 p.m. Monday at Martinez Funeral Home.
   Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
   
   She  was born in Balmorhea and had lived in Odessa since 1997. She was
   Catholic.
   
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Isidro Posada of Kermit; mother, Dolores L. Prieto
   of Pecos; brothers, Juan L. Prieto and Pedro L. Prieto, both of Pecos;
   sisters,  Beatrice  Villegas  of  Kermit,  Adela P. Mata of Odessa and
   Carmen L. Prieto of Pecos.
   
   Danny Williamson
   
   ODESSA  --  Danny  Ray  Williamson,  53,  of San Antonio, a registered
   massage therapist, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, at his residence.
   
   Services  will  be  at  2  p.m. Wednesday at Highland United Methodist
   Church  with the Rev. Dave Ring III officiating. Arrangements by Frank
   W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
   
   He was born in Big Spring.
   
   SURVIVORS:  Sons,  Kory  Williamson  of Cary, N.C., Kurt Williamson of
   Midland and Mateo Williamson of Odessa; brother, Kenneth Williamson of
   Austin; sister, Jodi McAfee of Odessa; and three grandchildren.
   
   Robert Krause
   
   ODESSA -- Robert Krause, 58, of Odessa, died Friday, Dec. 11, 1998, at
   Avalon Place.
   
   Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
   
   Doris Tolbert
   
   ODESSA  --  Doris Helen Tolbert, 52, of Odessa died Saturday, Dec. 12,
   1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
   
   Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
