December 17, 1998 Permian Basin Death Notices Norman Allred ODESSA -- Norman Leon Allred, 85, of Odessa, a retired well service worker, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998, at Seabury Nursing Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Quail and moved to Odessa in 1943 from Morton. He was a member of the Church of God. SURVIVORS: Wife, Clara Allred of Odessa; sons, Joe Coffee of Coleman and Tommy Allred of Odessa; sisters, Edna McAdams of Auburn, Calif., Etta Claunch of Hamet, Calif., and Clara Stewart of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Modell Allred of New York; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Freddye Brewer ODESSA -- Freddye J. Brewer, 67, of Odessa, a retired secretary, died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, at Crescent Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Johnny Dickerson officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. She was born in Haskell and moved to Odessa in 1953. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Husband, A.C. Brewer of Odessa; daughters, Debbie Bates of Odessa and Leisa Brewer of Dallas; mother, Pauline Kendrick of Palo Pinto; brother, J.M. (Skip) Kendrick of Vega; and one grandchild. Rosie Parum ODESSA -- Rosie Marie Parum, 62, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Glenn Harlin officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. She was born in Gainesville. She was Baptist. Edgar Wood FORT STOCKTON -- Edgar "Ed" Wood Jr., 74, of Fort Stockton, retired manager of an oil supply company, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1998, in San Angelo. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.D. Jackson officiating. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home. He was born in Fort Worth and had lived in Fort Stockton since 1977, when he moved from Hobbs, N.M. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Corine Kirkwood ODESSA -- Corine Kirkwood, 64, of Odessa died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
