December 20, 1998 Permian Basin Death Notices David Holton LUBBOCK--David "Jack" Holton, 82, a retired Atlantic Richfield station operator, of Seminole died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Graveside services will be at Lubbock City Cemetery on Monday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. S.W. Keeton officiating. Arrangements made by Roger Pool Funeral Home. He was born in Trenton. He had lived in Seminole since 1943. He was a member of First Christian Church. SURVIVORS: Wife, Freda D. Holton of Seminole; sons, Jackie Dan Holton of Conroe and Jimmy Gwin Holton of Dimebox; daughter, Sandra Jean Hodges of Odessa; brothers, Alfred Holton, A.B. Holton and Kenneth Holton, all of Lubbock; sisters, Geraldene Watson, Maxine Chadwick, Jenell Pagett and Connie Dean, all of Lubbock and Norma Peden of Fort Worth; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Cecelia Johnson HAMLIN--Cecelia M. Johnson, 66, a former Odessa resident, died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at her home in Odessa. Services were Friday at First Baptist Church in Hamlin with the Rev. James Brigham officiating. Burial was in Neinda Cemetery. Arrangements made by Foster-Adams Funeral Home. She was born in Lefors. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Jo Lynn Sosebee of Odessa; son, Tommy Johnson of Odessa; mother, Lacrecia McLaughlin of Midland; brothers, Don McLaughlin of Lake Buchannan and Tommy McLaughlin of Midland; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. J.L. McCafferty LUBBOCK--J.L. "Mac" McCafferty, 78, of Lubbock, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, at University Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the W.W. Rix Chapel with the Rev. Wayne R. Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Arrangements made by Rix Funeral Directors. He was born in Fruitvale. He was an Army veteran of World War II and had lived in Lubbock since 1946. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Maxine McCafferty of Odessa; son, Douglas McCafferty of Brownfield; brothers, J.W. McCafferty, Charles McCafferty and Kenneth McCafferty, all of Lubbock; sisters, Mary Shackelford of Wolfforth and Margaret Reid, both of Lubbock and one grandchild. Guadon Pruitt ODESSA--Guadon Pruitt, 75, of Odessa, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, at his residence. Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home. Donald Leadingham ODESSA--Donald R.
