He was born in Coleman County and moved to Gardendale three years ago from Snyder. Verna Corona ODESSA — Verna Lanelle Hayne-Corona, 41, of Midland, a retired counselor, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland. She was born in Pecos. She was Baptist. Emit Ellison ANDREWS — Emit Ellison, 77, of Andrews, a retired pumper, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at his residence. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home. He was born in Mineola and moved to Andrews in 1958 from Nacogdoches. Gerardo Ramirez FORT STOCKTON — Gerardo Ramirez, 53, of Fort Stockton, a route sales vendor, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in Fort Stockton.
