Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Newton officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Prue, Okla., and had lived in Odessa since 1938. He was Baptist and a Navy veteran. SURVIVORS: Wife, Maxine Hensley, of Odessa; sons, John Rodney Hensley of New Orleans, LA., and Jarvis Alan Hensley of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, E.E. Hensley of Odessa; sister, Lucille McClead of Brownwood; mother-in-law, Beatrice Riley of Odessa and four grandchildren. Margarita Martinez KERMIT — Margarita Dominguez Martinez, 76, a housewife, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at her residence. Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. She was a 52 year resident of Kermit and she was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Husband, Enrique Martinez Sr., of Kermit; sons, Enrique Martinez Jr. and Johnny Martinez, both of Kermit, Maneul Martinez of Midland and Ruben Martinez of Odessa; daughters, Delia Madrid and Elizabeth Ortiz, both of Kermit, Eulalia Marrufo of Wink and Lorina Juarez of Odessa; brothers, Carlos Dominguez and Joe Dominguez, both of Kermit and Modesto Dominguez of Midland; sisters, Manuela Contreras of Dallas, Celestina Lujan of Kermit and Mary Lou Solis of Irving; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A.J. Maxwell ODESSA — A.J. (Curley) Maxwell, 71, a retired pipeline construction superintendent, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at his residence. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Revs. Preston Weatherly and James Otterness officiating. Arrangement by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. He was born in Cisco and had lived in Odessa since 1948. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. SURVIVORS: Wife, Donna Maxwell, of Odessa; daughters, Beverly Maxwell of Odessa, Lisa Maxwell of Midland and Kelly Goode of Austin; brother, Terry Maxwell of Cushing, Okla.; sister, Bonnie Pritchard of Odessa; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Hazel Smith ODESSA — Hazel Mildred Lewis Smith, 89, of Fort Baird, N.M. died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999, at Fort Baird Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Terry Pugh officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Bowie County and was a member of the Pentecostal church. SURVIVORS: Sisters, Frances Miles of Moriarty, N.M. and Ida Proctor of Dangerfield; and brother, Hollis Patterson of Dangerfield.
