                                Walter Adams
    KERMIT — Walter Martin Adams, 96, of Kermit, a retired farmer,
       died Saturday, January 30, 1999, at Kermit Health Care Center.
    Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Kermit Cemetery
    with the Rev. Gene Brown officiating. Funeral arrangements by Cooper
                              Funeral Chapel.
                        He was born in Erath County.
     SURVIVORS: Daughters, Hazel Horseman of Wink and Norma Hallmark of
        Midland; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four
                         great-great grandchildren.
                                      
                               John Armstrong
   ANDREWS — John T. "Jake" Armstrong, 78, of Andrews, died Friday,
                    January 29, 1999, at his residence.
   Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church with
    the Rev. Mike Henson officiating. Burial will be in the Andrews Old
           Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
   He was born in Konawa, Okla., and had been a resident of Andrews since
       1947. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Phyllis Armstrong of Andrews; son, Tommy Armstrong of
   Andrews; daughter, Dusty Thornburg of Andrews; sisters, Alma McDaniel
     of Sacramento, Calif., Wanda Jones of Hobbs, N.M., Roxie Adair of
   Andrews and Joyce Hawkins of Jackson, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and
                          six great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                 Roma Hall
    ODESSA — Roma Gray Hall, 97, of Odessa, a railroad agent, died
             Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
    Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial
   Gardens with the Rev. Curtis Brewer officiating. Funeral arrangements
                   by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
   She was born in Fannin County and had been a resident of Odessa since
                           1956. She was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Nanette Swilling and Robinita H. Williams, both
      of Odessa; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three
                         great-great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Jessie Harris
   ODESSA — Jessie Ann Harris, 48, of Odessa, died Thursday, January
   28, 1999, in Muleshoe. Funeral arrangements are pending with Martinez
                               Funeral Home.
                                      
                                Versie Hail
   ODESSA — Versie Lee Hail, 71, of Odessa, died Friday, January 29,
                     1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
        Funeral arrangements are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

   GRAHAM — Kathryn Virginia Hall, 79, of Odessa, a homemaker, died
       Friday, January 29, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. Funeral
         arrangements are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                                      
                              Sarah Pendleton
   ODESSA — Sarah Pendleton, 76, of Odessa, died Friday, January 29,
       1999, at her residence. Funeral arrangements are pending with
                        Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
