                                John Carroll
     ODESSA — John Ellison Carroll, 80, of Odessa, a retired real
       estate investor, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, at Medical Center
                                 Hospital.
     Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial
      Gardens with the Rev. Jim Ray Brown officiating. Arrangements by
                        Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                  He came to Odessa in 1956 from Abilene.
    SURVIVORS: Sons, David Carroll of Odessa and Don Carroll of Aurora,
         Colo.; and a daughter, Dorothy Thompson of Corpus Christi.
                                      
                                Freda Holton
     SEMINOLE — Freda Daffodine (Nelms) Holton, 80, of Seminole, a
     homemaker, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital
                          after a lengthy illness.
       Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lubbock City
   Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Hill officiating. Arrangements by Memorial
                         Funeral Home of Seminole.
                       She moved to Seminole in 1943.
   SURVIVORS: Sons, Jimmy Holton of Dime Box and Jacky Holton of Conroe;
         daughter, Sandra Hodge of Odessa; seven grandchildren; 14
            great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
                                      
                              Elizabeth Keese
   MONAHANS — Elizabeth Lucille Keese, 78, of Monahans, a homemaker,
                 died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, in Monahans.
      Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel.
    Burial will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey
                   Funeral Home. She was born in Utopia.
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Cecil Keese of Monahans; sons, Cecil Keese of San
    Antonio, James Keese and Jerry Keese, both of Monahans, Robert Keese
   of Copperas Cove, Donald Keese of Gardendale and Bill Keese of Odessa;
       daughters, Myrtle Anne Anderson of Monahans and Linda Greer of
    Abilene; brother, Raymond Channy of Fort Worth; sister, Lois Hill of
         San Antonio; 21 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                W.B. Noland
   KERMIT — W.B. "Bill" Noland, 83, of Kermit, a retired United Van
     Lines truck driver, died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, at Medical Center
                                 Hospital.
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kermit Cemetery with
    the Rev. Randy Houston officiating. Arrange-ments by Cooper Funeral
            Chapel Inc. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Gretchen Noland of Kermit; sons, C.A. Noland of Jena,
   La., David Noland of Port Orchard, Wash., Bob Noland and John Noland,
      both of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, JoAnne Belis of Mayer, Ariz.;
    sister, Marguerite Headrick of Coushatta, La., stepson, Jerry Rogers
          of Kermit; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

    ODESSA — Lela Ford Ballard, 96, of Odessa died Sunday, Feb. 14,
                     1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
      Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home, Angeles Memorial
                                  Chapel.
                                      
                               Charles Hanes
   ODESSA — Charles Hanes, 80, of Odessa died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999,
                        at Medical Center Hospital.
      Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home, Angeles Memorial
