Wilma Buchanan PECOS — Wilma Buchanan, 83, of Pecos, a retired school teacher, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, at Pecos Nursing Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greer Willis officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mineral Wells City Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. She was born in Graford and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Sister, May Jarine Bush of Pecos. Carl Davis NEW BRAUNFELS — Carl Leon Davis, 63, of New Braunfels, a retired Texas Department of Public Safety officer, died Feb. 8, 1999, in New Braunfels. Services were held Feb. 13, 1999, at Zoeller Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Tatum officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Elgin. Arrangements were by Zoeller Funeral Home. He was born in Cyril, Okla., and moved to New Braunfels in 1982 from Victoria. He was a Marine Corp veteran. SURVIVORS: Wife, Martha Davis of New Braunfels; sons, William Douglas Athas of Garland, Howard K. Athas of New Braunfels and Carl Dwight Davis of Santa Fe, N.M.; brothers, Leland Davis of Odessa; sister, Mary Young of Crane; and four grandchildren. Patrick Heckman BROWNWOOD — Patrick H. Heckman, 83, of Lake Brownwood, a retired employee of El Paso Natural Gas, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rocky Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Justice officiaiting. Burial will be at Rocky Creek Cemetery in Brown County. Arrangements by Davis-Morris Funeral Home. He was born in Waurika, Okla. nad moved to Lake Brownwood in 1979. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Wife, Dorotha Nelson Heckman of Lake Brownwood; son, John Heckman of Carlsbad, N.M.; daughters, Yvonna Willis of Breckenridge, Rosealie Brown of Odessa and Janice Loggins of Arlington; brother, W.G. (Creamy) McCree, 88, of Pecos, a retired funeral director, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Reeves County Hospital. Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Abbott officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. He was born in Artesia, N.M. He was Methodist.
