                               Howard Dennett
   PECOS — Howard Dennett, 76, of Toyah, a mechanic, died Saturday,
      Feb. 27, 1999, at Memorial Hospital & Medical Center in Midland.
    Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home with
       John Sawanson officiating. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
   He was born in Rehobeth, Mass. He was a Navy veteran. He was a member
            of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Dolores Dennett of Toyah; son, Kevin Parker of Amber,
                       Penn.; and four grandchildren.
                                      
                               Estelyn Green
    MIDLAND — Estelyn Green, 85, of Alexandria, La., died Saturday,
                     Feb. 27, 1999, in Alexandria, La.
    Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Memorial
     Park with the Rev. Dr. Jim Rudd officiating. Arrangements by Ellis
                               Funeral Home.
                         She was born in Oklahoma.
      SURVIVORS: Daughters, Ann Jones of Alexandria, La., and Barbara
    Burnett of Seattle, Wash.; brother, Stanley Willis of Stanton; five
                grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Gail Henson
   ODESSA — Gail Henson, 90, a retired secretary, died Monday, March
                   1, 1999, at her residence in Abilene.
    Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Northside Baptist Church with
    the Revs. Glenn Harlin and Clydell Chapman officiating. Burial will
      follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly
                               Funeral Home.
    She was born in Pawhuska County, Okla. She had lived in Odessa since
                           1936. She was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Sons, Loren Boyd Henson of Abilene, Dean Henson of Sun City
    West, Ariz., John Henson of Lubbock and Joe Henson of Midland; eight
               grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Annie Parsons
    JACKSONVILLE — Annie Lee Parsons, 81, a retired hospital clerk,
        died Monday, March 1, 1999, at a Jacksonville nursing home.
     Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home
      Chapel with the Rev. George Folmar and Bill Freeman officiating.
         Burial will follow in the Woods Cemetery in Panola County.
                   Arrangements by Thompson Funeral Home.
                She was born in Timpson and she was Baptist.
     SURVIVORS: Son, E.E. Parsons of Gallatin; daughters, Debra Reid of
   Jacksonville and Wanda Davis of Odessa; brothers, Burton Armstrong of
      Carthage and Ray Armstrong of Kilgore; sisters, Alice Vestal of
    Carthage, Margaret Freeman of Teneha and Dorris Lankford of Killeen;
             five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Juanita Schafer
   COLORADO CITY — Juanita Schafer, 80, a retired police dispatcher,
             died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in a local hospital.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the
    Rev. Ted Spear officiating. Burial will follow at the Colorado City
            cemetery. Arrangements by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
   She was born in Floydada and was a lifelong resident of Colorado City.
     SURVIVORS: Husband, Louis O. Schafer of Colorado City; son, Randy
      Schafer of Odessa; brother, Lawrence Ruddick of Eldorado, Kan.,
             sister, Helen Ezell of DeSoto and one grandchild.
                                      
                             Javier Tellez Jr.
   FORT STOCKTON — Javier "J.J." Tellez Jr., 19, died Monday, March
                                  1, 1999.
    Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home
   Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s
   Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Vasquez officiating. Arrangements by
                        Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
       SURVIVORS: Parents, Javier and Linda Tellez of Fort Stockton;
    grandparents, Jose A. Tellez Jr. of El Paso, Luz Moreno Tellez of El
   Paso, Camilo Celeya of Fort Stockton and Esparanza Quintela Celeya of
     Fort Stockton; sisters, Jessica Tellez, Janica Tellez and Janessa
       Tellez, all of Fort Stockton; and brother, Joe Tellez of Fort
                                 Stockton.
                                      
                              Bennie Christian
     ODESSA — Bennie Christian died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, at his
                                 residence.
