Huckaby, 88, a retired superintendent for the Fort Stockton school district, died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in Fort Stockton. Services will be at 10 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Jim Miles officiating. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home. He was born in Dime Box and was a longtime resident of Fort Stockton and was Presbyterian. SURVIVORS: wife, Ruby Huckaby of Austin; sons, Robert Huckaby of Fort Stockton and Jim Huckaby of Austin, and Doug Huckaby of San Angelo; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Opal Kretzinger TOPEKA, Kan. – Opal Etta Kretzinger, 82, formerly of Monahans, a retired nurse at Ward County Hospital, died Wednesday, March 3, 1999 in a Topeka nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church in Monahans. Burial will be at Ward County Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home. She was a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church. SURVIVORS: daughter, Geraldine Redmon of Pusan, South Korea; sons, Thomas Kretzinger of Anchorage, Ala., Robert K.
